There is for each of us destinations that we are moving towards. Sometimes they are by our own choices. Other times truth be told life will lead us in a particular direction. There is no standard method to be considered the norm.
For each of us as we are moving and heading down the road that presents itself before us, we will at various times on our journey go through a myriad of emotions and experiences. Some for the good and some for the bad.
The highs and lows of the road that we travel can place us in different positions that cause us to look outward. Will others understand the road that I am travelling? How will others react to roads of my choice or that which life has called on me to follow? Our answers will at times leave us with the assignment of interpreting what to do and how to respond.
The truth of the matter is the road that each of us will travel is not designed for everyone. In fact, there will be those times when the very ones we hope will understand may be given to pull back and view us with a sense of not identifying with us.
But this much life has taught. That which we do, the road some of us follow is not about those that we encounter each day. The road is designed and waiting for that one person. That person is you.
The inward challenge is for us to not always seek validation outwardly but to embrace the inevitability of our road that is destined for that one person.
As we move deeper into this year the question that lies before many of us is this; Is your road to be travelled that which you go forth on without hesitation? Will you continue pressing on though others are not coming along? And is there within you the commitment to see where your road leads even if it is a road travelled by one? Time awaits our response; our legacy will reflect our decisions.
