In this the second month of 2024 there is in a sense the passing of the newness of the start of the year.
Excitement fills the air as we begin each New Year. Promises of a fresh beginning it would seem are everywhere.
And yet here we are in this month of February. Where then is that zeal that each of us began with?
It has been said that what begins on fire is only worth its warmth based on the continuation of its flames.
The promises we proclaimed are we still standing ready to carry forth? The goals that we set, how then shall we seek to assess them in the midst of journeys that are without the fanfare and attention of others?
“To pursue is at times in silence, to achieve at times is viewable to a select few.”
Therefore remain vigilant in the quest to reach mountain tops heretofore thought to be unreachable. Continue to remain at peace in the knowledge that through valleys low, even in difficult times they shall be temporary and not a place of permanent residence.
The journey is not quickly fulfilled, but by virtue of pressing on we will see that which is unseeable.
Not merely by sight but by the inward conviction that what awaits is a reward that will provide validation of the faith to believe, the passion to drive us forward, and the resilience to never waiver in our journey to make it to that mountain top.
