For many of us, we set goals and objectives at the beginning of Year. In some cases, we share our goals and objectives with a few people or even a large audience.
There is of course a great sense of excitement at the beginning of every New Year. The future is bright and unfolding in a manner that leads many to press forward with a rush and determination.
We are in the month of April, the fourth month of this year. I would assume that the newness in most respects has worn off. There may even be a sense of business as usual for some.
For those who have goals and objectives the moments of excitement may fade. The newness may lose some of its luster and to be honest that is to be expected. The question then becomes what happens when the excitement and newness does go away? Where do we go? How will each of us continue to move forward?
It’s been said that the dreams and aspirations of those who have their vision are not to be dependent on the fleeting impact of a moment. But instead, they are designed to continue to grow. To continue to expand particularly after the moment of expectation has been birthed.
To those who are still amid the journey, continue to do so. If in fact it is sight unseen, then it comes to embrace the fact that sight unseen is not the equivalent of production in action.
Press on, though many may wonder why, dream on for the future is unlimited, and never grow weary in moving towards the mountain top of fulfillment.
