As we go about our everyday business, we do so in a manner that paint a picture of who we are and what we are about.
It is a picture that for some will send a message to others, that sometimes will be audible by our words and deeds. Sometimes it will be a message which is painted not by what we say but by what we may or may not do.
The person and projection that others have of us can lead them to assume that seeing is believing. Perhaps even going so far as to say to others, that’s the essence of who they are.
There is an adage that remains a truism. “Still waters run deep.”
The surface image of each of us is at best merely a preview into what lies within us.
Each day we are growing. Each day we evolve into the person that we are destined to be. The person that we are called to be.
It is at times not obvious to the naked eye. It is at times seemingly not considered to be plausible.
With the presence of time and opportunity we are blessed with seasons to move into new arenas. To spread our wings in a sense. For therein are the moments that will see us blossom and reach heights heretofore thought by others to be beyond what we were capable of.
Work in Progress. Works in progress that say yes this is who I am on this day. Yes, the me that you encounter today is what appears to be my essence.
But as that work is in progress there is more to come. Like a movie with a coming attraction the intro is merely the beginning. The more that is to come is what represents an evolutionary tale of a story still to be told.
