As the calendar has changed to July, we are at the halfway point of the year. It is easy to say how quickly the first half of the year has passed. It seems like the first month of the year was a mere few days ago.
When the calendar did change perhaps there is the opportunity if we chose to stop and pause and give thought to where things stand in our lives.
Goals and objectives that we mapped out in the beginning, where do each of us stand regarding them? Be it a change of habits or say the acquisition of new ways where do we see ourselves?
The process of reflection is varied. Each of us will arrive at our process in our way. Ways that we are comfortable with and ways that we know have been productive in the past.
As this is the halfway point there is a need to say to us, what is behind me is the building point of where I am and more importantly where I am headed.
Pressing forward. Doing so because though we may be at a halfway point it is merely a yardstick to acknowledge but not to feel satisfied by.
We continue to keep pressing forward because that which is before us is that culmination of where we see ourselves arriving at.
Obstacles and challenges, yes, will be a part of the journey. Ups and downs as well will present themselves.
But for those who have that inner something those things that may cause us to take extra time will not in the end be that which causes us to stop.
Where do we go from here? How does the story end? The ending though yet to be determined is not to be one of an incomplete story. The best is yet to come.
